How to play

Age of 2048 is played on a 4x4 grid. You begin with two tiles, each displaying either a 2 or a 4. The objective is to merge identical number tiles by sliding them in one of four directions: Up, Down, Left, or Right. When two tiles with the same number touch during a slide, they merge into a single tile with the sum of their values (e.g., two 2s become a 4, two 4s become an 8, and so on). After every move, a new 2 or 4 tile appears randomly on an empty spot on the grid. The game ends when the grid is full, and no more moves are possible (i.e., no adjacent tiles can be merged, and no empty spaces remain for new tiles). Your goal is to reach the 2048 tile, or even higher values like 4096, 8192, and beyond, to achieve the highest possible score. Each merge adds the value of the new tile to your total score.
