How to play

Zombie Mission 5 is an engaging 2D action-puzzle platformer that can be played solo or, ideally, with a friend in local co-op. The core objective across its many levels is to rescue all captured hostages, eliminate all zombie threats, and collect all data disks before proceeding to the exit portal. Players control two distinct characters, each with unique abilities. One character, often referred to as the ''red'' character, typically has ranged attacks (gun) and can press buttons, while the ''blue'' character might have a melee attack or specific movement capabilities. Controls are intuitive: use WASD for player 1 and arrow keys for player 2 to move and jump. Press ''F'' (Player 1) and ''L'' (Player 2) to shoot or activate items. Navigating the environment involves strategic platforming, avoiding traps like spikes and laser grids, and solving environmental puzzles that often require teamwork. For instance, one player might need to hold down a switch to open a door for the other, or work together to activate elevators. New zombie types, including heavily armored, flying, or exploding variants, demand varied combat approaches.
