Before making your first move, scan the board for potential cascades—matches that trigger automatic combos after tiles fall. Prioritize moves that create these cascades over isolated matches, as they generate power-ups without spending extra moves.

Combine identical power-ups before activating them. A striped candy merged with another striped candy becomes significantly more destructive than using each separately, often clearing entire sections of the board in one activation.

Save power-ups for critical moments late in levels. Hoarding one-use explosives and color bombs until the final moves—when you're close to objectives but move-limited—creates more impact than deploying them early when the board has other clearing options.

Avoid chasing high scores on levels with strict move limits until you've cleared the objective. Many players deplete their moves on score-chasing instead of completing the required task, forcing them to replay levels and waste boosters.
